BRIEF OUTLINE: The teams line up and compete with each other. Slam the dice on the table and yell "How many?" The team that gets the answer right scores a point. Play until everyone has had a turn.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

  • 20 small discs.
  • Bag to put the discs in.
  • Marker.
  • Scoreboard

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

  1. Divide the class into four teams and have them line up.
  2. Team One competes against Team Two, and Team Three with Team Four. Each student will go in turn. If there are an uneven number, one student can go twice. The team with the most points at the end wins.
  3. The winners of each conference compete against each other to be Grand Champions.

TEACHING SUGGESTIONS:

  • Don't let them touch the discs while counting, as it will confuse the other student.
