BRIEF OUTLINE: A Halloween-themed activity using the phrases "Do you want to ~?" and "I want to ~."

MATERIALS NEEDED:

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

  1. This activity consists of 3 games:
    • First is a matching warmup. Make pictures for each monster and put them on the blackboard. Make groups and read each sentence. The team that guesses right first wins and gets one point.
    •
Second is a writing/speaking exercise.  Have the students decide what they want to be for Halloween and write/say it by using the phrase, "I want to be ~ for Halloween."
    • Finally, partners play a guessing game using the print. 1 student chooses a Halloween character from the print and the others ask questions. For example, "Do you want to suck my blood?"
