BRIEF
OUTLINE: Worksheets for students to practice asking questions using the verb, 'be' (and verb, present perfect).

 

MATERIALS NEEDED:

 

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

  1. Students secretly pick a character.
  2. The find a partner and ask a few questions each using the grammar provided.
  3. Students guess their partners character on the bottom of the worksheet. 
  4. Check to see who got the most guesses correct. 

 

VARIATIONS:

  • Change the number of questions the students are allowed to ask.  For example, after three questions, the students must guess their partner's character.

 

TEACHING SUGGESTIONS:

  • Be sure to review the questions and character names before you begin.
