BRIEF OUTLINE: An activity based on the popular Guess Who game.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

  1. Go over grammar.
  2. One student picks a character, gives a hint to their identity using the target grammar, and the other student tries to guess which character is selected.
  3. Repeat until guessed correctly.
  4. Students change roles.

TEACHING SUGGESTIONS:

  • This is a simple Guess Who game where 2 versions of this worksheet are included:
Simple positive statements only (e.g. I have already eaten lunch.), and mixed positive-negative sentences (e.g. I have already eaten lunch. / I haven't eaten lunch yet.)
