BRIEF OUTLINE: Students write sentences about their future. After they finish writing, students listen to their friends talk about their future while taking notes.

  1. Pass out a worksheet to each student and have the JTE explain to the students any words they might not know. This activity should promote the idea of them actually trying to imagine their life in the future, not just a simple English exercise.
  2. Give them about five minutes to complete the worksheet then have them make pairs and take turns reading the sentences to their partner. The partner should take notes in the grid at the bottom
  3. After they finish talking with their partner, they should write sentences at the bottom about their friend's future.

  • Have the students interview other students, not just their partner.
