BRIEF OUTLINE: Students become comfortable using the "(S)he looks..." pattern while use their mad drawing skillz.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

  • LooksFaces worksheet: The attachment has an A & B worksheet

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

  1. After splitting the class into pairs, students take turns asking each other, "Number 2, How does (s)he look?" Their partner answers, "(S)he looks..." They reverse and repeat the question/answer.
  2. When both students have asked each other the question and received an answer, they draw the face appropriate circle.
  3. Rinse and repeat.

VARIATIONS:

  • If you want to practice a little writing, add some lines to the worksheet and once the student have finished drawing all the faces, have them write sentences about the faces they drew.

TIPS/CAUTIONS:

  • This isn't art class, so don't let the students spend too much time drawing one face.
