BRIEF OUTLINE: A translation exercise, listening exercise & charades game practicing infinitives.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

  1. The first part is simple translation from Japanese to English.
  2. The second part is a listening practice. You need to prepare a dialogue or skit pertaining to the questions (or you can rewrite the questions for you own listening test).
  3. The last part is a charades game. It was inspired by the Tell/Want Charades game.
    • Make groups of 3 people (A, B, and C).
    • Person A chooses an action and whispers to B, "I want you to (action)."
    • B must do the action without talking.
    • C must guess and say, "(A) told (B) to (action)."
