BRIEF OUTLINE: Students practice listening and solve a puzzle.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

  • MoshiWorksheet worksheet 12
  •

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

  1. Give worksheet to students.
  2. Listening: Read the sentences "Japan is my country," "Go to the store if you want to go shopping," and "If you like to travel, let's go around the world." These are actually 4, 14 and 17 from the word search, but don't tell this to the students yet. Don't let them know that you just told them the answers.
  3. Word Search: Tell students to find the answers to each of the questions and to complete the sentences.
  4. Give them the hints. Explain to them the answers to 4, 14, and 17 are from the listening activity, and 3, 8, 15, and 16 are sentences from the textbook.
