BRIEF OUTLINEStudents make their own country while practicing possessives.

 

MATERIALS NEEDED:

 

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

  1. Handout the worksheet and have the students draw the fictious flag, but put a time limit on it because you'll most likely have a couple of Picasso painters in the room.
  2. Then, have them answer the questions on the worksheet. The questions include: country's name, song, sport, flower, food and population.
