BRIEF OUTLINE: Students practice speaking and polite conversation with a fun comic.

 

MATERIALS NEEDED:

 

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

  1. In pairs, have the students take turns being both characters in the three comics.
  2. They can choose which adjective to use in the comics, or ALT can suggest one.

 

TEACHING SUGGESTIONS:
  • Before beginning, do a run through of the whole worksheet with the class, making sure the students understand all the words in words banks.

 

TIPS/CAUTIONS:

  • This was created to go with One World, (grade 2, lesson 3) but can be used with any activity focusing on polite expressions and/or questions.
