OUTLINE: Here students will write about their Spring/Golden Week vacation.

 

MATERIALS NEEDED:

 

DETAILED EXPLANATION:


Introduce writing to the students. 

Go over Sunshine 2 pg 14-15

Show them examples on the board for the parts of an essay.

e.g. opening/body/closing.

 

It's simple and can easily be adapted to other topics.

When your 3rd graders visit Kyoto and Nara, this activity may also be used.
