BRIEF
OUTLINE: Students arrange a jumbled dialog between Kenta, and a shop clerk.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

  • ShoppingJumble attachment (Print out one for each group and cut up the sentences.)
  •

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

  1. After introducing and practicing the vocabulary and dialog on page 92 of the Sunshine 2 text book, explain that the students will receive mixed up dialogs similar to the one they just studied.
  2. Hand out the mixed up dialog pieces, and have the groups place them in order. Once they think it's correct, have them raise their hand. Check their work, and if it's correct, have them read the dialog (either one student each reading a piece, or have 2 keen students take either role).
  3. Mark a point for the group on the board, and give them the next dialog. There are a total of 3 dialogs to go through.
  4. If your students are lower level, or are struggling with arranging the dialogs, give them a hint that the the clerk speaks first, and will only ask questions.

  5.
