BRIEF OUTLINE:   Simple listening activity which requires students to listen to a dialogue performed by the teachers and show comprehension by ticking or crossing the boxes.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

  1. Teachers read the dialogue slowly and clearly.
  2. Students tick the box if the teacher has "some" of the noun(s) and cross the box if the teacher doesn`t have "any" of the noun(s).
  3. Repeat as many times as necessary.
  4. Check the answers as a class.

      TEACHING SUGGESTIONS:

      • When checking the answers, read through the script again so that the students who have made mistakes can see where they went wrong.
