BRIEF OUTLINEStudents receive half of a sentence and they must write the missing relative clauses.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

  1. After handing out worksheet, have the students

write relative clauses to finish the sentences.
  2. Clues to who the people are:
    • #1 - Ichiro Suzuki is a baseball player.
    • #4 - Ai-chan is a teenage girl who is the youngest table tennis player to represent Japan in the Olympics. She was 15 years old at the time.
    • #5 - Tiger Woods is a golf player.
    • #6 - Ayumi Hamasaki is a famous J-pop singer.
    • #10 - Takeshi Kitano is a famous Japanese director. He also starred in the American movie Johnny Mnemonic.
