OUTLINE: Students match the letter to the monument, then practice writing relative pronoun sentences using which.
 

 

MATERIALS NEEDED:

 

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

  1. Students match the letter to the monument.
  2.  ALT does number 1 on the board, with the students calling out the words in correct order while adding missing words. (Big Ben is a famous clock in London which is next to the river Thames.) 
  3. Students complete the remaining questions and take up the answers as a group.
