Brief Outline: In groups students write the description of a famous person/character and the class has to guess who it is.

Materials Needed:

Detailed Explanation:

  1. The ALT gives the class the hints to Doraemon, as per the worksheet.  Once you have said all the hints, ask the class if they know who it is.
  2. Then, split the class into groups and each group must choose a celebrity and think of simple sentences to describe that person.
  3. Each group will read out the hints and the other students try to guess who it is.
  4. Groups are given points depending on how quick they answer. If they answer with only one hint then they get five points, and so on.

Teaching Suggestions:

  • Give the groups a celebrity to use if they are taking too much time to decide.
