BRIEF OUTLINE: Activity sheet for groups of 3-4 students. Students interview their group members to complete the worksheet.

 

MATERIALS NEEDED:

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

  1. Explain polite request and practice polite responses.
  2. Students (in groups) interview their group members. 3 questions each person. Circle the yes/no answers. They may do this simultaneously or sequentially.
  3. After interviews, students will write 3 original polite invitations.
