BRIEF OUTLINE: Students write sentences and plug them into the phone conversation dialog.  

 

MATERIALS NEEDED:

 

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

  1. Students fill in the blanks next to the characters. 
  2. They find a partner and play janken.  The winner will decide who is A and who is B in the conversation.
  3. Person A chooses a character and person B chooses the correct pronoun for A's character. 
  4. When the two are finished with the conversation, they find new partners and repeat.
